Our Business
We are a UK-based organisation, delivering advisory, investigative and specialist consultancy support across security and law enforcement sectors both nationally and internationally.
Our Approach
Although we are not currently required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we voluntarily adopt its principles as part of our commitment to responsible and ethical business.
We:
- Strictly prohibit all forms of exploitation, including forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour.
- Conduct risk-based assessments of our operations and supply chainVet all associates, contractors, and suppliers prior to engagement
- Require compliance with applicable labour, employment, and anti-slavery laws
- Promote awareness of modern slavery risks across our business
All individuals engaged by Salterton are:
- Freely engaged and able to terminate their work without restriction
- Paid fairly and above relevant minimum standards
- Not subject to coercion, exploitation, or unlawful practices
- Know and understand their duty to assist the business to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking
Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is primarily UK-based. We expect all suppliers and partners to:
- Operate in line with recognised human rights principles
- Maintain effective controls to prevent modern slavery
- Cascade these expectations within their own supply chains
We will not knowingly work with organisations involved in exploitation or unethical practices. We conduct risk management and due diligence by conducting proportionate, risk-based approach to managing modern slavery risks.
This includes:
- Assessing risks across our operations and geographies
- Vetting and onboarding suppliers, contractors, and associates carefully
- Monitoring relationships to ensure ongoing compliance
Raising Concerns
We encourage employees, contractors, and partners to raise concerns about suspected wrongdoing. Details of how this can be done are in our published modern slavery and human trafficking policy. Reports can be made in confidence, and individuals will not suffer any detriment for doing so.
Ongoing Commitment and Focus 2026 - 2028
We continue to review and strengthen our controls, awareness, and due diligence processes as our business grows internationally.
Over the coming two years, we will continue to:
- Enhance awareness across our network of associates and partners
- Monitor and review our approach to ensure continued effectiveness as we grow internationally
- Work with our charitable and commercial partners to identify areas we can increase our social value work in this area
