Glyn Wallis-Jones is a former Detective Chief Superintendent with over 30 years in policing, including five years as the Metropolitan Police's Road Policing Lead for London, commanding a 750-strong 24/7 unit with a £46m budget. He went on to spend over a decade in the civil service, most recently as Head of Police Liaison and Enforcement Innovation at the Department for Transport, where he led the Roads Policing Review and modernised national policing IT systems. He later served as Deputy Chief Inspector of the Road Safety Investigation Branch and as Policy and Operational Lead for Forensic Science Regulator compliance. Glyn now directs Jigsaw Consulting & Analytics and is Director General for National Road Safety Investigations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is a guest lecturer in Accident Investigation at Cranfield University.

He is a proven problem solver and constant innovator, with a strong social conscience and an evidenced ability to build effective partnerships across government, policing and industry.
As Detective Chief Superintendent and Road Policing Lead for London, Glyn led a 750-strong, 24/7 pan-London command responsible for investigating all road deaths and serious collisions in the capital. He subsequently took his expertise into Whitehall, leading the Department for Transport's Roads Policing Review and shaping national road safety policy, before serving as Deputy Chief Inspector of the Road Safety Investigation Branch and Policy and Operational Lead for Forensic Science Regulator compliance.
Glyn holds extensive experience giving media interviews, writing press lines and supporting multi-agency communications during critical incidents, including coordinating supply chain resilience with Defra during the Covid-19 pandemic. He is security vetted to NPPV3 and SC levels with enhanced DBS clearance, and has served as a Multi Academy Trust Chair of Trustees and school governor.
Glyn now directs his own transport management and security consultancy, Jigsaw Consulting & Analytics, and serves as Director General for National Road Safety Investigations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is also a guest lecturer in Accident Investigation at Cranfield University.
